Asbru Provides CMS Solution for Hosting Service Providers
London, United Kingdom, February 6, 2007 -- Asbru Software has released
version 6.3 of the Asbru Web Content Management system designed to
provide control and simplicity for non-technical users while
maintaining flexibility and power for developers and web designers.
The latest update provides many improvements for Asbru Web Content
Management hosting providers, partners and web designers, who wish to
offer the Asbru Web Content Management as a hosted service.
The Hosting Edition of the Asbru Web Content Management System already
enables hosting providers to host multiple individual clients each with
completely separate websites built and managed through the Asbru Web
Content Management system.
The new version 6.3 includes an application that automates the ordering
and delivery of the Asbru Web Content Management system as a hosting
service. Hosting service customers can now add their website hosting
requirements to a shopping cart and when they have successfully
completed an order their website is automatically setup and configured.
A customizable email with their new website details will then be
emailed to them alongside their invoice.
The application is fully customizable enabling hosting companies to add
their own look and feel to their store front. Hosting companies can
also develop their own Asbru Web Content Management website templates
for specialized sectors and enable their customers to select these when
ordering a website. A hosting company working in the healthcare sector
may for example wish to offer website templates meeting the needs for
this particular sector.
The new application also includes functionality, which enables hosting
service providers to provide support to their customers. Customers can
submit support tickets through the application and participate in a
support forum moderated by the hosting service provider.
Finally, in version 6.3 hosting service providers have an improved
administration interface for hosted websites including the possibility
to categorize hosted websites into for example sector or customer
location.
